Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026

Scripter is a web-based software tool that helps creators turn audio or video recordings into written content such as scripts, summaries, and repurposed posts.

By accessing or using Scripter, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1) Who can use Scripter

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use Scripter. You’re responsible for ensuring that your use complies with applicable laws.

2) Your content & rights

You keep ownership of any audio/video files you upload (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant Scripter a limited, temporary license to store and process it solely to provide the service.

You confirm you own the content or have permission to upload it. You’re responsible for how you use or publish any generated output.

3) Processing & accuracy

Scripter uses automated systems to generate text from uploaded media. Output may contain errors or omissions. Scripter does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability for a specific purpose. Review and edit before publishing.

4) Storage & retention

Uploaded files may be stored temporarily to enable processing. Retention and size limits may vary by plan and may change over time. Free/testing plans may have stricter limits and shorter retention.

5) Payments & subscriptions

Some features may require payment. Payments are processed by third-party providers. Scripter does not store full payment card details. Pricing, limits, and subscription terms will be shown before purchase and may change as the product evolves.

6) Acceptable use

You agree not to use Scripter to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content
  • Violate the rights of others
  • Abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or bypass security of the service

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you’re violating these Terms or harming the service.

7) Service availability

Scripter is provided “as is” and “as available.” We may modify, pause, or discontinue features at any time, especially while the product is early.

8) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scripter will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Use Scripter at your own risk.

9) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of Scripter after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
